WHO IS EFR ?

Emergency First Response with its headquarters in Bristol, is a dynamically growing international organisation providing First Aid (CPR, AED) courses. It comprises more than 56 thousand instructors all over the world and has a presence on every continent. The organisation's experience in terms of preparing educational materials, running courses and training sessions spans 50 years. Emergency First Response courses are accepted all over the world. All programmes and educational materials are created on the basis of patient care standards, 2005 Guidelines Standards for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care published by the American Heart Association and approved by Basic Life Support (BLS) Working Group of the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR). ILCOR is an international liaisons group, representing the bulk of resuscitation related organisations around the world.

Emergency First Response with its headquarters in Bristol (Great Britain) is one of the world's largest and most recognisable institutions teaching first response rescuers. Every year, Emergency First Response issues more than 500,000 certificates. EFR courses are seen as a professional qualification within the scope of emergency first response, and the teaching programmes are in line with the latest ILCOR and European Resuscitation Council standards and guidelines.
